hey guys!

by now all the little ghosts and goblins, witches and warlocks, power rangers and princesses have made their way back home after haunting the streets for treats.

i thought when my youngest turned 12 or 13, he’d lose interest in halloween. not. he’s 15 and still likes to dress up, even if he’s just handing out candy to the little guys.

so be it. life’s too short not to be happy … whether it’s dressing up for halloween, reading in bed with your husband or junking with your best friends.

below are pics of some “treats” for y’all … yummy treasures i wanted to share. lots from sue, some from other junking haunts.

love, hugs and HAPPINESS to all,
terry lee

Hey Y’all!

We’re past the half-way point of October and I’ve been debating whether to blog about this or not. Most of you realize that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month … and many of you know that I was diagnosed last year.

Call me superstitious, but I really didn’t want to chime in on the subject. Maybe because I still carry my sword and am fighting my own battle. They say I have to make it 5 years to become a “survivor”.

Well, I’ve made it 15 months since my diagnosis. I survived the surgeries. I survived the chemo (just barely!). I survived the radiation. I survived losing all my hair. And I am surviving the long-term medication that I take to keep the enemy at bay.

So call me what you will. But don’t dare say that I’m not a survivor.

Lest you think I’m a strong woman, I could not, would not have survived these last 15 months without the love, prayers and support of my precious husband, children, sister and dear friends … these and many more I call my prayer warriors. You know who you are.

Ladies, get your yearly mammograms. Please.

Love and hugs to all.

Terry Lee
