Hey y’all!
My name is Terry Lee. I was named after my mother’s baby doll … a very popular doll in the late 40’s and 50’s. I was born and raised in Central Texas, and 47 years later, it’s still my home.
I am a proud mama of three beautiful, talented, funny, intelligent (did I say I was proud?!) children: Alan 28, Tara 26 and Matthew 15. I love them all to pieces.
I am married to my best friend, Ben. He’s a great guy who puts up with my nonsense … and has proven his love for me in many, many ways these first years of our marriage. He’s put action to his vows of “for better or worse, in sickness and in health” … and I love HIM to pieces for it.
By profession, I am a registered nurse. For the past 17 years, I’ve worked for a local school district as a school nurse. I love working with children and caring for them in the school environment. Currently, I am staying home with my youngest … and we are home-schooling. It’s working out wonderfully for both of us!
When/if I retire, I’d love to open an antique/junk shop for FUN. I absolutely adore vintage/antique/junk shopping and finding that perfect treasure. I just love all things vintage and thinking about the history of the item and the previous owners. I like to believe each piece has a story, a history.
This blog was born in order to network with other antique/vintage/junk lovers, like me. I hope to meet as many of you as possible. Please visit often … and leave a comment. I’d love to hear from you!

Hi!
I’m a fellow junker and have in common your love and appreciation for all things Sue. I thought I will drop you a note to invite you to come and visit my shop in Belton. Looks like we like the same things so you will enjoy what we do. Hope to see you soon.Marta the texarican.
